¶ How to fix Failed to verify username error

If you are trying to join your server and you are getting the error Failed to verify username then it's probably due to you are using a pirated version of Minecraft. Follow the steps below to solve this error.
Cracked servers are highly vulnerable to hackers and raiders, we encourage you to turn on whitelist and use some type of login plugin.
¶ Steps
- Click on the
Filestab from the left sidebar.
- Select the
server.propertiesfile to edit it. - Find the line where it says
online-mode: trueand set the value tofalse. - Save the content and restart your server.
- Join your server and Enjoy!
