¶ How to add mods to your minecraft server
This guide was created with the following products: Gravel Host Minecraft Server
Mods can be a great way to enhance your Minecraft experience. There are a lot of server software that you can install to use mods. Follow the steps below in order to run mods on your Minecraft server.
- We highly recommend you to delete any existing Files/Folders on the server before following the tutorial.
- This tutorial is only for installing Forge & Fabric servers.
You can download mods from website like Curseforge or Modrinth.
¶ Steps
- On the panel, click on
Versiontab from the left sidebar.
- Select the dropdown menu and choose either
ForgeorFabric.
- Install the Minecraft version you would like.
- Head to
Filesand upload your mods to themodsfolder, if the folder is not there already then create it. Make sure the mods you upload are compatible with your server software and version. - Start your server and Enjoy!
Note: You need to install the mods on your Minecraft client as well.
