¶ Rust: How to Switch to PvE
There are plenty of settings you can adjust available on the our game panel. Here's how you can change your server to a PvE one. This guide was created with the following products: Gravel Host Rust Server
¶ Introduction
PvE is less commonly used in Rust since the game primarily focuses on PvP and raiding other players. While some mods can enhance the PvE experience by adding new events and creatures, we don’t suggest using PvE on its own. Here’s how you can switch your server to PvE.
¶ Steps:
1. Open the File Manager
2. Navigate to /server/docker/cfg/
3. If it isn't already there, right click and create a file called server.cfg
4. Add the line server.pve true then save the file
5. Restart the server
