Join your Garry's Mod server by finding it in the server browser, or connect straight to it with its IP address and port from the console.
¶ Before you start
- A Garry's Mod server with Gravel Host. No server yet? Get one here
- Your server's IP address and port, shown on the game panel.
¶ Steps
¶ Method 1: Find the server in the server browser
- In Garry's Mod, click Find Multiplayer Game.
- Select your server's game mode.
- Search for your server's name, then connect to it from the list.
¶ Method 2: Join via IP
- In Garry's Mod, open Options and make sure the developer console is enabled.
- Press
~on your keyboard (the key underESC) to open the console. - Type
connectfollowed by your server's IP and port, for exampleconnect IP:PORT, and press Enter.
¶ Check it worked
Garry's Mod loads into your server.
