Reset a player's inventory, position and stats by deleting their player data file. The world itself is not touched.
¶ Before you start
- A Minecraft Java server with Gravel Host. No server yet? Get one here
- The UUID of each player you want to reset. Each file in
playerdatais named after a player's UUID.
Deleted player data cannot be recovered. Download a backup first if you might need it.
¶ Steps
- Stop the server from the top of the page.
- Open Files from the left sidebar.
- Go to the
world/playerdata/folder.
- Delete the
.datfile for each player UUID you want to reset.
- Start the server.
¶ Check it worked
The reset player joins with an empty inventory at the world spawn.
