Add a server password so only people you share it with can join. This keeps out players who find your server in the community list or by its IP address, and lets you build in peace before others join.
¶ Before you start
- A Palworld server with Gravel Host. No server yet? Get one here
¶ Steps
- In the Gravel Host Panel, click Startup at the bottom left.
- Under Variables, set the Server Password field to anything you want.
- Restart the server.
- Join your server. When asked, enter the server password and click OK.
¶ Check it worked
After you enter the password, you load into the game as normal. You can change the password at any time, so if it leaks, set a new one the same way.
¶ Troubleshooting
¶ Players are not asked for a password
The server was not restarted after you changed Server Password. Restart it and join again.
