Play on a custom map by installing a modded map from the Steam Workshop and setting it as your ARK: Survival Evolved server's startup map.
¶ Before you start
- An ARK: Survival Evolved server with Gravel Host. No server yet? Get one here
- The modded map you want, found on the Steam Workshop.
¶ Steps
- Install the map mod the normal way, following How to Add Mods to Your ARK: Survival Evolved Server.
- Make a note of the Map Name on the mod's Steam Workshop page. This example shows it for the mod Olympus.
- Open the Startup tab and change the Startup Map field to the modded map name.
- Save and restart the server.
¶ Check it worked
Join the server. You spawn on the modded map instead of the previous one.
